From June through August, SOTA Residences & Hotel will host a series of summer open house events the 2nd Saturday of each month. Visitors, residents, and realtors interested in learning more about this mixed-use development with 35 luxury condominiums above a boutique hotel can stop by the SOTA sales gallery at 1734 Main Street after browsing the farmers market or enjoying lunch downtown.
Guests gathered inside the SOTA Residences & Hotel sales gallery for a private VIP reception and “conversation” to hear announcements and updates from developer Rodrigo Trepp. As President of Trepp Developments, his vision for downtown’s mixed-use project continues to expand as he announced a brand new level of luxury is now offered to the residents.
Special guest speaker Abbie Newman, president of the New York City based, LIVunLtd, told guests she is looking forward to expanding her company to Sarasota on Florida’s West Coast. “We have a track record of providing outstanding service to 134 luxury properties across the county,” Newman explained, noting that her team will provide SOTA residents the convenience of a concierge at their fingertips to assist with everything from event planning to fitness options to dinner reservations. “SOTA will be our first project in the Sarasota region.”
“We are here to make your life easier,” explained Newman. “Everybody is so time starved. We offer our NYC-based team with worldwide connections for the past twenty years. Moving is the most stressful time in your life. We ease the way, making sure all goes seamlessly.”
Newman also announced that residents who sign a contract will have access to the LIVunLtd services immediately ”Starting now and for almost two years after signing a contract and all through construction, we are here to make their new move seamless. It’s all about convenience and personalization.”
Rodrigo Trepp, President of Trepp Developments, announced the addition of a unique concierge service for SOTA Residents & Hotel. LIVunLtd, a global luxury brand specializing in all facets of service, has been contracted as the residential virtual concierge. With a focus on service for the 35 residents living above the boutique HOTEL SOTA, Trepp feels the partnership is a perfect fit. “LIVunLtd has delivered five-star service around the globe for over twenty years, and we are pleased to bring that level of sophistication to Sarasota.
Even before SOTA Residences & Hotel opens at the corner of Main Street and Goodrich Avenue, buyers of the 35 luxury condominiums will have access to a virtual concierge service which Trepp Developments President Rodrigo Trepp calls the first of its kind in Sarasota.
Trepp has contracted with LIVunLtd, a global luxury brand, to provide all facets of service for residents living above the boutique Hotel SOTA. A dedicated “lifestyle curator” assigned to SOTA will assist residents with services from automobile shipping, hanging their art collection and scheduling a personal trainer to travel planning and acquiring sporting event tickets.
Fences have been erected and interior demolition of buildings at the corner of Goodrich Avenue and Main Street has begun. In approximately two months the site will be cleared for construction of SOTA, a hybrid boutique hotel and luxury condominium coexisting in a 16-story tower.
Trepp Development announced the start of the project on Sept. 22 with the first step being removal of asbestos from buildings currently on-site.
Michael Saunders & Company hosted area realtors and the media at the sales gallery for SOTA Residences & Hotel to debut a scale model of the mixed-use project.
During the event developer Rodrigo Trepp also provided a project update, “We are proud to announce we are making progress on what will soon become a landmark on Main Street. The demolition has begun with the two buildings at the rear of the site along Goodrich.”
Sota’s scale model is showcased prominently in the sales gallery located at 1734 Main Street in downtown Sarasota. Taking approximately 1,100 hours to create, the model provides a physical vision of the project for potential buyers.
Contracts are now being accepted with residences priced from $1.7 million.
SOTA RESIDENCES & HOTEL
Located at 1703 Main Street, SOTA will include 35 spacious residences atop 120 hotel rooms in a 16-story tower with Hoyt Architects named as the building designer and architect of record. The interiors are designed by the New York City-based and award-winning Andre Kikoski Architect.
Due to its height and distinct design, SOTA will be a standout piece of urban architecture in the center of Main Street. Separate hotel and residential lobbies will be located on the ground level with hotel reception and amenities on the fifth floor. There will be six floors of condominium residences starting on the eleventh floor.
When he introduced plans to develop Sota — the 12-story condo/hotel mixed-use project at the corner of Main Street and Goodrich Avenue — Rodrigo Trepp of Trepp Development called the area “what’s happening next” in downtown Sarasota.
Indeed, redevelopment is active on the eastern end of Main Street, also known as upper Main Street, with multiple residential and mixed-use projects either under construction or in planning. Located in one of four federally designated opportunity zones, the area bisected by the intersection of Main Street and U.S. 301 is ripe for investment.
Rodrigo Trepp has been involved in the construction of 13 high-rise buildings in Latin America, but his next development project − and first in America −will be built in Sarasota.
Trepp is leasing about 2,000 square feet of office space off Orange Avenue in Sarasota and opened a sales gallery on Main Street for the 35 condo units available in the 16-story mixed use downtown development called SOTA.
Metropolitan excitement meets tropical living with the SOTA Hotel & Residences, a chic new boutique hotel and luxury residence building that will sit at the corner of Goodrich and Main Street at the eastern gateway to downtown Sarasota. With plans to break ground this summer, the SOTA is projected to be up and running by summer 2025.
